Here's the third batch of Glenburgie single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Now, we all know there are dangers involved in making whisky, but no one is prepared for giants rummaging through your warehouse for comically oversized hats (as is happening on this label). It most certainly is a dangerous business, that whisky-makin' lark.
Batch 3 is a release of 120 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Sandalwood and pine at first, before layer of almond butter and shortcrust pastry. A little festive ground ginger.
Fresh lime peel, gummy bears and zesty rum spices. Very much a summer whisky.
Grilled pineapple and juicy mango linger.
Don't be fooled by the light colour here. The palate wouldn't be out of place on a whisky 50 shades darker.
