Looking for a particularly tasty whisky? How about an Old Particular?! This is a 12 year old Glenburgie single malt, bottled by the ever brilliant Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. It began life in February 2007 and was aged in a refill hogshead for a dozen years, before being bottled up in November 2019 with an outturn of 365 bottles.
Apricot, honey and fresh barley, with a hint of coffee too.
Red berry sweetness arrives on the palate - classic Glenburgie strawberry jam notes!
Softly toasted brioche, salted butter and lingering strawberry.
