Glenallachie 17 Year Old 2008 (cask 3050994) PX Finish - The Octave (Duncan Taylor) 70cl Whisky

A cracking combination of mature Speyside whisky and Pedro Ximénez sherry cask influence here. This GlenAllachie was distilled in 2008 and independently bottled by Duncan Taylor in 2026 for its Octave collection, having spent its final maturation period in a small PX-seasoned octave cask. With a greater wood-to-whisky ratio than conventional casks, these little vessels can impart plenty of flavour in a relatively short time. Expect concentrated dried fruit, dark chocolate and warming spice from this 17-year-old single malt, bottled at 55.3% ABV, with just 87 bottles released from cask #3050994.
