One of three releases in GlenAllachie's Virgin Oak Series from early 2022, this expression was given a finishing period in French oak casks. The casks were made from oak grown in the Haute-Garonne region, and matured the whisky for approximately 18 months after it was initially aged in bourbon barrels. Intriguing stuff as ever from Billy Walker and the team!

I tried this at a whisky tasting a year ago and really enjoyed it. When a friend asked me to recommend a good whisky for her neighbour who cuts her grass each month, I suggested this bottle. He’s still cutting her grass every month. What more can I say.
