Description
One of three releases in GlenAllachie's Virgin Oak Series from early 2022, this expression was given a finishing period in French oak casks. The casks were made from oak grown in the Haute-Garonne region, and matured the whisky for approximately 18 months after it was initially aged in bourbon barrels. Intriguing stuff as ever from Billy Walker and the team!

Nose
Caramelised nuts and flamed orange peel, with nutty malt in the background.
Palate
Grapefruit, honeycomb, a hint of dark chocolate and coffee bean.
Finish
Gingerbread, earthy oak, nutmeg.
