Glenallachie 10 Year Old – Batch 6 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

Glorious Glenallachie single malt, it's the sixth batch from the distillery to be bottled up by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! Matured for ten years, this expression was finished in a Maker's Mark bourbon cask, imparting plenty of fragrant vanilla, zingy citrus, and oily oak spice to the robust malt at its core. Joining the Boutique-y Records series, this is one of two Glenallachies to be released, each treated to different cask finishes. It'll be interesting to compare the two consecutively, like when you flip a record and find a remix of the A side on the B side, which is what the label is all about here. It looks like those Boutique-y folks are trying their hand at the disc jockeying game... How would that acronym go? TBDJC?

Batch 6 is a release of 460 bottles.
