Bourbon
Produced at one of Campbeltown's three distilleries, this is a new, smartly packaged version of the classic Glen Scotia 12. It comes at higher strength than before, and as such offers a great deal more flavour.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Spiced, slightly smoky nose with hints of old ropes and dry herbs. Sea air, smoked barley and honey.
Sweet, full palate with soft peat and dried peels. Quite woody.
Long finish, floral and faintly herbal.

Lovely dram for the money, reminds me a bit of the old Strathisla. Would have bought another if they hadn't run out of stock
it's a real good whiskey that tastes more
