Bourbon
A 30 year old single malt from Glen Moray, independently bottled by Murray McDavid as part of the Mission Gold range. This was distilled in 1986 and left to mature in a bourbon hogshead for three decades, until it was bottled in 2017 at 49% ABV.
Peaches in syrup, vanilla cheesecake and chocolate digestives. Oak spices linger on the perimeter.
Toffee and pear, mixed with coffee bean and pine resin. A hint of char-grilled tropical fruit.
Oily walnut and more orchard fruit.
