This limited edition Speysider hails from Glen Moray, having been distilled back in 1994. It spent the majority of its days in bourbon casks, though before it was bottled the liquid was transferred to Port casks for a finishing period. Eventually, it was bottled at a smashing 25 years old, with just 2,700 bottles released at 43% ABV. Lots of spice and red fruit among the vanilla notes in this one.
Banana bread and tinned pineapple alongside candied ginger, toasted oak and dried red fruits.
Red grape skin and cinnamon, with cranberry, sweet malt and vanilla pod.
Chocolate ganache with a touch of white chocolate, and a touch more cinnamon.
