A 1988 vintage Glen Moray, aged in a single refill sherry hogshead until 2018. Following that lengthy maturation, this single malt was independently bottled by Malts of Scotland, producing 115 cask strength bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Milk chocolate and raisins, with a touch of tomato stem in the background.
Palate
Strong coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of soft oak.
Finish
Buttery at points, with plenty of dried fruit notes continuing.
