13 year old single malt distilled by Glen Moray - another excellent Thompson Bros. independent bottling! This one was distilled back in 2007, and bottled up a baker's dozen years later with an outturn of 532 bottles. The label, as ever from the Thompson Bros., is rather stylish indeed, this time featuring a cat eating a rather tasty looking dish, including a tempura prawn! What a lucky cat.
American-style pancakes with maple syrup, plus a savoury edge of oak.
Subtly earthy and vegetal, but never losing sight of maple syrup sweetness.
Buttered popcorn, cut grass, and honeyed porridge.
