The John Milroy 18 Year Old Speyside (Berry Bros. & Rudd)
Glen Keith is a relatively new distillery having been built in 1957 and was the first distillery to gas fire their stills. This Glen Keith is part of the John Milroy Selection - John Milroy started in whisky retail with his brother Wallace in 1964.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Banoffee pie drizzled with cream and with a suggestion of smoke in the background.
Palate
The palate is elegant with flavours of hazel nuts and toffee.
Finish
The finish is fruity and sweet with deeper notes of caramelised sugar.
Overall
This is a toffee forward whisky with delicious fruit and banana notes.
