Distilled in 1999 at Glen Keith, this single malt was filled into a single refill American hogshead, where it remained for the next 22 years. Finally, in July 2021, the clever team at Gordon & MacPhail decided it was good and ready for bottling, so they did just that, releasing a total of 167 bottles for the Connoisseurs Choice collection!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Green apple peel and banana chips, vanilla, and mixed spice.
Palate
Sweet citrus notes, roasted nuts, with flaky, honeyed pastry balancing touches of peppery oak.
Finish
More pepper and hints of allspice creep with nutty malt and vanilla in tow.
