Nose: Heavily sherried, thick aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon and cassis. Hints of fresh plum and baking spices.
Palate: Beautiful delivery of sherry notes, with a core of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. Thick berry fruits and hints of dried banana chips. Malty.
Finish: Long finish with dried apricot, 70% cocoa dark chocolate, a little tawny port and a struck match!
Overall: Very rich, this whisky just keeps on developing in the glass, unveiling more and more...
