A superb single cask bottling of single malt from Glen Garioch! Distilled in 2000, we gently woke the whisky from an 18 year slumber in an ex-bourbon barrel in 2018 with 41 bottles destined for our Single Cask Series.
Sweet and zesty lemon drizzle cake, continental pastries with fresh, sugared fruit, plus a touch of ginger.
The pastry notes continue with almond croissants, and cinnamon swirls. Roasted nuts, oaken vanilla, and oily malt build, while bold warming spices tangle in the background.
A touch of tangy marmalade arrives to see things off, with soft apricot notes mellowing herbaceous malt beneath.
