Glen Garioch 17 Year Old 2009 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Distilled at Glen Garioch in 2009, this Highland single malt spent the next 17 years slumbering soundly in a single refill barrel. Until we came along in 2026 and bottled it up for our exclusive Master of Malt collection! Lucious and oily, with layers of stone fruits, toasted nuts, and oaken spice, a release of 369 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich oak, fresh, juicy peach, and waxed citrus peels are joined by vanilla hazelnut cream, prunes, and buttery malt.
Palate
Mouthcoating and oily, with lucious layers of soft stone fruit cushioning peppercorn warmth. Juicy barley, toasted oak, and chewy wood spice.
Finish
Apricot and vanilla linger, with toasted almonds, candied prunes, a touch of root ginger and nutmeg.
