Got to be one of the spiciest whiskies that I've had the good fortune to taste.Certainly not for the faint of heart but a memorable taste experience that has to be tried at least once
I just love everything about this whisky. So full of flavour and leaves a delicious long finish. My favourite thing, however, is the mouthfeel. Add a drop of water, take a sip, and hold it in your mouth for 10-15 seconds, then swallow. Feels so good! I’d recommend buying this 100%. Beauty!
Poached pear, raisins, rock sugar, vanilla, apple, and a woody tangle. A great marriage of bourbon barrel and Pedro Ximénez with a spirit that has some character of its own. Full taste at 48%. At half the price of some sherry 'finished' NASs this is hard to beat for ppl looking for an affordable whisky with sherry influences. Colouring. Sad.
Nice 12 yr old from Glen Garioch...very consistently good..one of best 12 yr olds out there...full of flavours,long finish and 48% and unchill filtered.Grrreat!!!
This is an excellent middle price range whisky. With the 48% ABV it needs a fair bit of water to bring out all the flavours. I had to experiment a bit to find the right amont. Nice long finish!
