    Glen Elgin 9 Year Old 2010 (casks 801358, 801359 & 806436) - Small Batch (James Eadie)

    This Glen Elgin from James Eadie was distilled in 2010, and left to age for just under a decade in a trio of casks made up of refill and first fill bourbon hogsheads! After nine years it was bottled in 2020 for the Small Batch series, with an outturn of 1,161 bottles.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Buttery ginger biscuits and lemon shortbread, with touches of strawberry jam and fresh toast.

    Palate

    Floral honey and barley sugar leading into milk chocolate and touches of roasted coffee bean.

    Finish

    Grassy sweetness and vanilla linger.
