Sherry
Sherried Glen Elgin single malt here from the Strictly Limited range, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr. This one was distilled back in 2008 and filled into three Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, where it rests for 11 years. In 2020 whisky casks were cracked open and the whisky was bottled up at 47.% ABV, with an outturn of 1055 bottles.
Caramelised dates and old oak furniture.
Chocolate ice cream, baked apple, cardamom and cumin.
Sharp orange on the finish, with a hint of coffee.
