Frysk Hynder Red Wine Cask
All the way from The Netherlands comes a red wine cask-matured single malt whisky, distilled by the Us Heit Distillery as part of the Frysk Hynder range. Plenty of stewed fruit and warming spice notes to enjoy here from this Dutch dram. Plus, it's got a horse on the top of the bottle, which makes it look rather majestic indeed.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Summer berry tart, chocolate-chip cookies, a touch of oily hop earthiness.
Palate
Raspberry, barley sugar sweeties, chamomile tea, damson.
Finish
A slow build of cassia and cinnamon on the finish.
