It's the 2018 edition of the Four Roses Small Batch - these bottlings are eagerly awaited each year, and with good reason (they're excellent). This year, the distillers are also celebrating the 130th anniversary of the Four Roses brand, and are marking it with this incredible expression. From the ten recipes of bourbon they have at their disposal, the Four Roses distillers worked with an OBSV recipe, an OBSF recipe, an OESV recipe and an OESK recipe to blend together a stunning bourbon.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Brown sugar, amaretto, dark chocolate and oak spice.
Palate
Chewy damson and cherry, with lighter hints of apricot and apple. Thick caramel, spicy cedar, Bounty bars and a touch of char.
Finish
Lingering cassia, clove and oak.
