A brand that dates back to the late 19 century. This Yellow Label bottling of Four Roses was released for the European and Japanese markets and is made up of whiskeys aged between 5 and 6 years of age.
The nose is quite sweet and crisp. There are notes of marmalade and zesty citrus, cereal sweetness, a touch of toffee and a lovely caramel note. The palate is well-balanced and smooth. There are notes of zesty citrus and manuka honey, plenty of cereal sweetness and winter spice, a hint of lemonade and a little toasty oak. The finish is of medium-length with lovely oaken sweetness.

Very floral nose. Smooth all the way down. A solid bourbon for the price. I always have a bottle at the house just in case.

Was in Munich last year and was tired of beer and I wanted a bottle of bourbon for happy hour, this is all they had in the corner store so I picked it up and... it was not expensive and it was easy drinking and enjoyable and smooth. My buddy and I happily finished off during our stay. Found it here in NJ and just picked up a bottle jsut for the hell of it, it's kind of a relief to drink this (neat of course) when I am not in the mood to work on my collection of big heavy expensive sipping bourbon. Just my two cents.

A little sweet at the opening for my taste. But the finish is nice- keeps my attention! This bourbon would be good, neat, with a cigar. Slightly pricey for the quality. Overall pretty nice.

i have not had many bourbons but this one is smooth and easy to drink. Has a bit of a sweet flavour, and a good warming feeling in the stomach. I have drank half the bottle this evening and I plan on picking this up again when I finish it. I would recommend it to anyone who does not know much about bourbon because this one will not scare you off the drink.Cheers

I had a dram of this and it was pretty much a delusion: very watery, it's weak on the palate. For the same price tag I'd go for Buffalo Trace without hesitation.

Between bulleit and Buffalo trace. Good value for money.
Toured Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, Makers Mark, Four Roses and Jack Daniels. Buffalo Trace and Four Roses are Fantastic!! Four Roses - Real smooth

It's not super-complex (but then, few bourbons are), but it's a pleasant drinker with enough interesting aromas to discover. Good stuff.

This Bourbon is fantastic, very easy drinking whiskey. I tried it on the rocks, then with just a drop of water. Over ice is nice, but as with most whiskies I drink I prefer with a dash of water. Great value.
