Fettercairn 23 Year Old 1989 (cask 1374) - Celebration of the Cask (Càrn Mòr)
This was distilled at the Fettercairn distillery on the 31st May 1989. It was aged in hogshead number 1374 before bottling for the Carn Mor range in August 2012. A release of 187 numbered bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of dried strawberry jam and lime zest. Beeswax. Malty.
Palate
A touch of manuka honey and stem ginger, pralines, nutmeg and allspice. Thick barley malt core.
Finish
Lemon curd and allspice. Very intense.
