This 18 Year Old Fettercairn was distilled back in September 2000, and then left in a single bourbon barrel for the entirety of its maturation. When April 2019 came around, Càrn Mòr bottled the liquid for the Celebration of the Cask range, with an outturn of 190 bottles at a cask strength of 51.9% ABV.
Porridge and dried apple, with bay leaf and a hint of banana.
Banana bread with a sprinkle of brown sugar, malty biscuits, summer fruit and oak char.
Milk chocolate praline and fresh oak.

Superb value for money. It's got a malt funk that's hard to describe. Woody, with smoked banana. Not peaty, more like a BBQ. If you see it, buy it!
