Fettercairn 16 Year Old 2000 (cask 3178) - Celebration Of The Cask (Càrn Mòr)
A 16 year old Fettercairn single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr. It was distilled in September 2000 and left to age in a single bourbon barrel until September 2016, when it was bottled as part of their Celebration of the Cask range. Only 101 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Tomato stem, oatcakes, apple chutney and some tropical fruit.
Palate
Toasted brown sugar, chocolate orange, malt and slight hint of smoke.
Finish
Summer berries and a hint of chopped nuts.
