Fettercairn 10 Year Old 2012 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
From the Fettercairn distillery, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr, this ten-year-old single malt was treated to a finish in a tokaji wine cask. Distilled in 2012, bottled in 2022, a total of 900 bottles join Càrn Mòr's Strictly Limited collection, released without colour or chill-filtration.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honey-soaked prunes, spiced fruit loaf, floral stone fruits, and a touch of sawdust.
Palate
Sticky toffee, dark chocolate coffee beans, and charred tropical fruits develop, while creamy vanilla brings balance to a hint of herbal spice.
Finish
Gingerbread and baked apple linger, alongside creamy coffee, and peppery spice.
