Fettercairn 10 Year Old 2007 (cask 12065) - Clan Denny (Douglas Laing)

A single cask bottling of Fettercairn single malt, independently bottled by the ever-wonderful Douglas Laing. This expression was distilled in June 2007 and left to age in a refill hogshead for a whole decade, before being bottled in August 2017 as part of the Clan Denny range. 403 bottles were produced.

Nose

Fresh apple, honeyed malt and oat biscuits.

Palate

Pear crumble, peach, slightly vegetal oak.

Finish

Softly herbal, with a hint of lime peel.
