Edradour 18 Year Old 1998 (cask 2026) - Velier 70th Anniversary Exclusive
A cask strength and well-sherried Edradour, distilled in 1998. It was matured for 18 years, spending the final 101 months (to save you the maths, that's around 8 and a half years) in an Oloroso sherry butt. It was then bottled in 2017 as an Anniversary Exclusive, to celebrate the 70th birthday of Italian importer Velier.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Ginger root, chocolate cake, prunes and spicy malt.
Palate
Roasted apple and cooked blackberries, layers of chocolate and a hint of old rum.
Finish
Cinnamon rolls, honey and ginger once again.
