Description

An Italian white wine finish for this 11-year-old Highland single malt from Edradour. Distilled in 2015, it spent the final stage of maturation in first-fill Chardonnay hogsheads from St. Michael-Eppan in Alto Adige before bottling in 2026. Presented at 46% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration.

Nose

Yellow apple, ripe pear and a twist of lemon, followed by white peach and vanilla. Sweet malt and light floral notes round things out.

Palate

Peach, pear and honey over a substantial malty base. Vanilla brings a creamy sweetness, balanced by bright citrus and a fresh wine character.

Finish

Lemon and soft oak remain as the richer fruit subsides, with lingering vanilla and dry malt.
