Sherry
This single malt from Edradour was distilled in June 2012 before being placed into a single sherry butt to mature for 10 years. It was bottled in September 2022 as part of the distillery's Straight From The Cask series, with only 866 bottles produced at a rather punchy 58.6% ABV.
Plenty of sherry character, dried prunes and figs, cinnamon, and candied orange peel.
Hot cross buns, with rich spiced fruitcake, and drizzles of treacle.
Allspice, pepper, and candied ginger.
