Single Malt
An Un-Chillfiltered Collection bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Edradour Distillery. This expression was distilled in 2011 and aged in a single cask for ten years, before being bottled in 2021 by Signatory. No chill-filtration here, folks! None of it.
Chocolate peanuts, jammy sultanas, a dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon.
Blackberry jam on nutty bread, sugared almonds, peppercorn, a touch of greengage.
Cassia, clove, a final hint of tangerine.

I drink a lot of edradour - especially these signatory releases - and this is a terrible bottle. I can just about pick out some sherry influence but all I'm really getting is smoke. Which is bizarre. Will come back to this bottle eventually to see if its changed but definitely the worst I've had from these guys. Won't put me off buying again though as they're usually brilliant.
This was the best Sherry cask whisky I had in 2021. Absolutely gorgeous. Really fresh berries and blackcurrent jam. Buttery soft mouthfeel. Such a lovely dram. Over the last week I was drinking Glenallachie batch 6, Glenrothes Carn mor, Adelphi glen Elgin, aberlour Abundah, Glendronach 15, edradour cask 217. And many more but this was by far the winner so me. Delicious Sherry cask whisky
