Single cask Edradour, released under the Ballechin name - letting you know that this is one of their intriguing peated expressions! It was aged in a Port cask for 13 years, from April 2004 to September 2017, and bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 408 bottles.

Nose

Smoke is rich and herbaceous, with the red berry sweetness acting as a foil to any overpowering salinity.

Palate

Pear and plum, tobacco, a touch of roasted cacao and coffee bean.

Finish

Subtle menthol notes appear on the finish, though smoke still persists.
