Port Finish
Smoky single malt from the Edradour distillery, released under the Ballechin name. This whisky was matured for 13 years in a Port cask - from April 2004 to Janaury 2018. Following that, it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 415 bottles.
Rounded red berry sweetness, chocolate, pecan and damp oak.
Strawberry and brown sugar, balanced by a hearty kick of smoked paprika and earthy peat.
Flamed orange peel, smoke and black pepper.

Tasting notes are pretty spot on, but don't head in expecting Islay smoke. Darker, earthier and richer for this one
