Unfortunately, we can't ship Ballechin 10 Year Old 2008 (cask 280) - Straight From The Cask to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
A peaty treat from Edradour, released under the Ballechin name for the Straight From The Cask series. It was distilled back in October 2008 and matured in a single bourbon cask for 10 years, eventually being bottled in December 2018. 317 bottles were produced.
Nose: Thyme honey and toasted teacakes, with a good kick of earthy peat smoke.
Palate: Peppercorn, barley sugar, charred oak and buttered rye bread.
Finish: Candied peels, caraway and bonfire embers.
