The Big Smoke 60

The Big Smoke 60 Bottling Note

The higher strength version of Duncan Taylor's Big Smoke. This is essentially a younger, more intense version of the very popular Auld Reekie. Lots of complexity and smoky flavour going on….

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet and creamy notes with notes of oily smoke, warm slabs of peat, and grist.

Palate: Big, very big in fact, with intense spices, peach, apple, and big hit of oily, salty smoke.

Finish: Good length, it remains oily, with hints of Lapsang Souchong tea on the tea, and some burnt wood.

Reviews for The Big Smoke 60
goes down smooth
just cracked open my first bottle...goes down very well neat. I was really surprised given the strength of it. a little water will be nice...only a little though. this is flavoursome and tasty with a hint of excellent. if you like it smokey and deep with plenty of low notes like hessian sack and old fireplace...this really is worth a try. not for the feint hearted.

Wow!
This heavy hitter will punch you in the face. If you like Smokehead, Lagavullin, and Laphroaig then you will love this one. If you can't handle Laphroaig then stay clear of this..it is potent!
