Bourbon

A bottling of Dumbarton's single grain Scotch whisky - a rare sight, as the distillery closed back in 2002. This one is a 32 year old expression, distilled in August 1986 and aged in a single bourbon barrel. It was bottled by Claxton's at cask strength with a tiny outturn of just 96 bottles.
Caramel, cardamom, white chocolate chip cookies, walnut, leather and stem ginger.
Almond, raisin, brandied cherries, red apples, treacle tart, more ginger, caraway.
Peanut brittle, cinnamon, a hint of red chilli.
