Driftless Glen 51 Rye 70cl Whisky

The Driftless Glen Distillery is based in Wisconsin, USA, and the team there makes some really rather excellent whiskeys, including this fab expression – Driftless Glen 51 Rye! It showcases the Maryland style of rye whiskey, which is a little bit sweeter and more rounded than the rye you may be more familiar with these days (though back in the times of yore and yonder, Maryland rye was the more prevalent style). This one is made with 51% rye, and bottled up at 51% ABV, which should do a good job of explaining the name.
