Orkney's Finest 12 #13781 Bottling Note

This Douglas Laing indie bottling from the Old Particular range was distilled on Orkney, at Probably Orkney's Finest Distillery. That's all the clues Douglas Laing are giving, you'll have to figured out which distillery it is yourselves. The single malt was aged in a refill hogshead from October 2007 to December 2019, and after a dozen years of maturation, it was bottled up at 48.4% ABV. 371 bottles were released.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Buttery biscuits, baked apple drizzled in honey, a soft salinity.

Palate: Spicy warmth grows on the palate - think ginger, white pepper and fresh malt. Still got some brown sugar sweetness to it.

Finish: Softly smoky with toasted oak and fragrant florals.

Beautiful
A thing of beauty! Bacon and sadsalt with cocoa, toasted almonds and honeyed barley. What a single malt!
