French single malt from Arlett here, made by Distillerie Tessendier who are better known for creating fine Cognac. For this expression, 50% of the blend was aged in new American oak barrels, and 50% in bourbon barrels for 3 years. The two were then married in Japanese Mizunara oak casks to age for a further year.
