Description
From French producer, Distillerie Lehmann comes this delightful blended whisky, which has been matured in casks that previously held Bordeaux white wine! Packing plenty of zesty spice and pastry sweetness, it boasts a wonderful profile for both sipping, and for crafting some delicious cocktails.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lemon peels and zest lead the way, balanced by creamy vanilla and sweet, baked apples.
Palate
Flaky, sugar-dusted pastry, crystalised ginger, and dried fruits with a touch of bitter chocolate bolstering the spice.
Finish
Lingering prickles of pepper with delicate pressed fruit, oaken vanilla, and buttery barley.
