Here's something we haven't seen before – a buckwheat spirit! This comes to us from the Eddu range, produced at Distillerie des Menhirs in Breton, France. Distilled in 2004 it matured in a single cask for 17 years, before being bottled in August 2021.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasty grain, with coffee bean, nutmeg, and banana bread.
Palate
A dusting of cocoa, caramelised nuts, and apple pie.
Finish
Toasted spices and warming mocha.
