Decadent Drinks returns with another edition of the brilliantly named The Marketing Malt. The brand promises a gloriously unhinged bottle, aged in two first-fill European oak sherry butts that were married after 20 years to create a whisky that feels part ancient Armagnac, part sherry bomb and part futuristic malt. Bottled at 57.1% ABV, this 2005 vintage beauty has a strong outturn of 606 bottles.

Nose
Dark chocolate, espresso grounds, figs, walnut wine and rich sherry spice.
Palate
Huge depth with roasted game, dark berries, bitter chocolate, dried fruit and European oak tannin.
Finish
Long, powerful and deeply spiced. Cocoa, walnut and dark fruit.
