Well Sherried Deanston here, independently bottled by the folks at Duncan Taylor! This was distilled in 1994 and aged for 19 years until 2014, when it was bottled for the Octave range following a finishing period in a tiny Octave cask. 71 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fruity rum with a touch of prune and dark chocolate.
Palate
Heaps of Deanston's rich malt shines through, complimented by burnt sugar, Christmas spices and a bit of orange peel.
Finish
Butterscotch, sultana, prune and a hint of earth.
