“Had to comment on this one of my favourites. Definitely one for people who like their whiskies fresh. There's a white wine quality to the nose. Palate has light citrus and a kind of bright buttery warm sweetness with slightly hot pepper in the finish. ”

An organic single malt Scotch whisky from the Deanston distillery, aged for 15 years before being bottled. Very interesting stuff from the Highland-based distillery.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Scones and brown bread. A hint of vanilla essence at the core, followed up by freshly cut grass.

Palate

Fruitier than the nose suggests, with notes of apple, pear and white grapes. Still rather grassy, and a little oily at points too.

Finish

White pepper and cedar.
