Deanston 12yo 2009 #6346 Bottling Note

On 7th September 2009, the team at Deanston set about distilling this single malt. 12 years later, in December 2021, after a finish in a single Sauternes wine cask, the cask was opened up by indie bottler Alistair Walker, releasing a total of 277 bottles for its Infrequent Flyers collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Chocolate orange, spiced biscuits, and charred oak followed by oily lemon peels and soft sultanas.

Palate: Milky coffee with dustings of vanilla, rich malt brings a nutty, mouth-coating texture

Finish: Drying spice, walnuts, clove, manuka honey.
