Nose Flamed orange-zest and caramelised pineapple lead, among rising notes of espresso, praline chocolate and caramel shortbread. Polished oak and new leather continuously provide depth to the aroma, and there is the slightest suggestion of coconut. Crumbly vanilla fudge and flickers of winter spices make for a beautiful backdrop.
Palate The palate possesses a ripe autumnal character, with jammy, almost sloe-like fruits emerging. Lighter notes of floral honey and Darjeeling tea complement these flavours, while a little blueberry syrup covers aromatic woods underneath.
Finish The sweetness becomes very delicate, while the winter spices fizz away as the dram concludes.
Overall Devilishly moreish and downright delicious - this’ll make a killer Scottish coffee...
