From the Dalmore Distillery comes this delightful 13 year old single malt, released by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice series. Matured in a single refill bourbon barrel, the whisky was bottled in July 2021, with a total of 267 bottles produced, without chill-filtration or added colour, and at a cask strength of 57.2% ABV.
Fresh pear and sugary barley, flaky butter pastry followed by a whiff of rich earthy coffee and cream.
Toasty malt aplenty with floral honey, sweet creamy vanilla, buttery wafts of pineapple, and melon.
A prickle of pepper creeps in, lemony zestiness and sweet citrus continues alongside tropical fruit notes and sweet oak.
