This bottling was released to replace the Cigar Malt, this is an excellent dram with notes of cigar leaf and honey and plenty of Dalmore spice. Gran Reserva is matured in a mix of sherry and bourbon casks.
Nose: A little light. Like breakfast: malty toast with jam and butter, marmalade too, filter coffee and tobacco (not breakfast for everyone).
Palate: Medium, cream. Notes of orange and zest, herbs and spices; star anise, fennel, chamomile and orange blossom. Fudge.
Finish: Medium to short. Malty, salty butter, cocoa.

Tastes like a cigar box (tobacco traces on mahogany) - finishes with a blend of teas like chamomile and roobios and also honey... as you drink on, it also has traces of raisins.
