Dailuaine 10 Year Old (Master of Malt) 70cl Whisky

We could never keep a good Dailuaine to ourselves. This Speyside distillery has won plenty of admirers for its characterful single malt, and this 10-year-old Pedro Ximénez cask-aged example has a lovely waxy texture, matched by a layer of sticky sweetness that complements the spirit rather than smothering it. We tasted it at a cask strength of 63.4% ABV and decided it belonged in the bottle exactly that way. A robust dram, certainly, but the balance was too good to fiddle with. Just 269 bottles, presented without chill-filtration or added colour.
