Bourbon

It's the third release of single malt Scotch whisky from the Daftmill distillery! For this Winter Batch release, the distillers drew whisky from bourbon barrels laid down in 2006 and cracked open in 2018. 1,625 bottles were produced. Lovely stuff from the Lowlands.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Honeyed barley and juicy orange. Stacks of pancakes soaked in maple syrup, too.
Still citrus-forward, now with a touch of waxy peels too. Layers of vanilla, almond and drying oak.
Buttery and subtly grassy. Soft nectarine sweetness lingers.
